Herpes has no effect on the kidneys in a way that is completely wrong. It adheres to the skin on each side of the mouth or genitals.
If the drugs are taken, you can damage the kidneys taken daily, if for some time.

I had not heard, herpes form of kidney damage ... but in the link below, which means that in rare cases or cases of people who * already problems with the kidneys, the treatment of herpes (no "cure") can damage the kidneys.

It would probably depend on the overall health and dosages, and perhaps pre-existing factors in the kidney.
