Renters Insurance Boston Ma I Had Renters Who Burned Down My Home, My Insurance Company Is Reviewing The Case Any Advise?

I had renters who burned down my home, my insurance company is reviewing the case any advise? - renters insurance boston ma

I have gone out of homeowners insurance coverage and that was enough, were the tenants optional renters insurance when they rent from me, but does not claim their payments. The insurance company said they needed to consider my application, because, if my insurance would cover, because I had informed the tenant miracle. My agent knew that I rent. I knew I had more policies they already have. Assume that the owners of the cover to protect the homeowner?

All we can do is continue with the adjuster and agent.

We have not nearly enough information to really say anything.

However, a fire with a total issue of reporting will be reviewed. Revision does not mean that we deny it - only that they look into it. Sometimes, a question of revising the coverage is and pay the loan - sometimes determine a question of verification of coverage and that coverage is applicable.

Did you tell your insurer that the house does not live in the house? One premise behind the owner is that the owner lives there.

You are bound to a different political, if not live there, not your house, your rental property.

Seriously expect that the insurance company rejected the charge back, but at least you can file a complaint against the seller if you can prove that he knew it was a lease, and you do not live there.

mbrcatz got it right. They had insurance wrong. If the premises for rent, you must be a holder of Company policy for such coverage. Additionally, you can continue your agent (hopefully a cover of E & O) for the loss if the insurer refuses. However, be prepared to prove that the agent knew that she had rented. This could be difficult, if nothing is written.

And the next time you decide to play, owners insist that their tenants to send regular test coverage in the form of a certificate of insurance.

Good luck.
